Description
AeroShell Fluid 41 is a mineral hydraulic oil, manufactured with exceptional cleanliness and improved fluid properties. AeroShell Fluid 41 contains additives that provide excellent low-temperature fluidity as well as exceptional anti-wear, oxidation-corrosion inhibition, and shear stability. In addition, this high viscosity index fluid contains metal deactivators and foam inhibitors to enhance performance in hydraulic applications. AeroShell Fluid 41 is capable of operating at a wide temperature range.
AeroShell Fluid 41 is dyed red.
Main Applications:
AeroShell Fluid 41 serves as a hydraulic fluid for all modern aircraft applications requiring a mineral hydraulic fluid. It is particularly recommended for situations where a ‘super clean’ fluid can improve component reliability. AeroShell Fluid 41 operates effectively in unpressurized aircraft systems between 54°C and 90°C and in pressurized systems between 54°C and 135°C.
Use AeroShell Fluid 41 in systems with synthetic rubber components, and avoid using it in systems with natural rubber.
AeroShell Fluid 41 is compatible with AeroShell Fluids 4, 31,?51, 61 and 71 and SSF/LGF.
“Avoid using chlorinated solvents to clean hydraulic components that use AeroShell Fluid 41.” The residual solvent contaminates the hydraulic fluid and may lead to corrosion.
