Introduction:

The Refrigeration Compressor Oils which lubricates the compressor should also have properties to deal with extreme low temperature and to withstand exposure to active refrigerants. MOTOROL Refrin oils are formulated from highly refined lube base stocks. These oils possess high fluidity at very low temperature, resist deposit formation and reduces tendency to foam

Applications:

MOTOROL Refrin grade oils are recommended for use
in evaporation and compressor of refrigeration system
using CFC, H-CFC and NH3 refrigerants like R 12, R
22, R 22 mixtures like (R 401, R 402 ),R 502,
Ammonia.

Advantages:

 Low pour point to prevent congealing.
 Low cloud point to withstand extreme low temperature
without flocculating wax.
 Good oxidation, thermal and chemical stability.
 Ready solubility to dissolve liquefied refrigerant to prevent
deposition
