CrackSeeker system can be used to advantage in a very wide range of industries. Makers of fine metal castings, forging plants of all sizes, welding companies or departments and manufacturers of machine parts are all probable users and show the large size of the market.
Quality standards in modern industry demands ways of satisfactorily checking whether there are cracks in metals and welds. Such cracks can be detected by sophisticated and expensive X-rays systems.
Detection can be also made by aerosol systems. However many of these only give their best results when used under quite costly fluorescent lamps. Our “Crackseeker” system was designed to be used without these lamps so it is a very inexpensive, effective system.
Obviously sophisticated X-Rays systems can only be used by major organisations whose products and volume necessitate and make possible substantial expenditure on testing and advanced equipment.
Those aerosol systems involving fluorescent lamps also incur capital outlay particularly as any reasonable through-put of material involves use of more than one set of lamps.
